I believe everyone has the potential to thrive, and it brings me immense joy to support others on their journeys. Whether it’s through psychotherapy sessions, clinical supervision, or leadership consulting. I strive to empower individuals to embrace their strengths, overcome challenges, and cultivate a fulfilling life. Every small step toward growth inspires me, and I am deeply passionate about helping people live their best lives. Let’s connect and explore how we can work together!
Psychotherapy is a transformative process that provides you with a safe space to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It offers valuable tools for understanding oneself and coping with life’s challenges, promoting personal growth, and healing. Through the therapeutic relationship, you can gain insight, build resilience, and develop healthier coping strategies. Ultimately, empowering you to lead a more fulfilling life.
Clinical supervision is a vital component of professional development in the mental health and substance use disorder field. It provides a structured framework for you to reflect on your work, gain feedback, and enhance your clinical skills. Through supportive and collaborative relationships, I help you navigate complex cases, uphold ethical standards, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Leadership consulting empowers organizations and leaders to unlock their full potential through effective leadership strategies. The focus is on enhancing communication, fostering collaboration, and cultivating a healthy, happy work culture—essential elements that serve as the birthplace of innovation. I can help leaders navigate challenges, inspire their teams, and achieve greater satisfaction in their roles. Our goal is to create environments where individuals can thrive, ultimately leading to greater organizational success.
I began my journey to becoming a therapist in middle school, driven by a desire to help others. Since then, I’ve earned a Master’s in Social Work and become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CAADC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals affected by substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and feeling a lack of purpose. I am truly passionate about guiding people as they rediscover themselves after struggles, helping them find hope and direction in their lives. Witnessing their growth and transformation is what inspires me every day.
More recently, I have discovered the same passion for helping professionals navigate their careers. Over the past 11 years, I’ve had the opportunity to lead other professionals as they move towards clinical licensure and emerging leaders as they step into new roles. Whether through clinical supervision or leadership consulting, I love guiding individuals as they develop their skills, enhance their communication, and cultivate a positive work culture. Supporting people in their professional growth and helping them achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding and continues to fuel my commitment to fostering success in others.
Psychotherapy sessions offer personalized support to individuals to address substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, personal growth, trauma, relationship challenges, or coping with life transitions. Sessions can be held in-person or virtually, last 1 hour, and can be adjusted based on the client’s needs but typically involve regular weekly sessions. Various approaches are used, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or Person-Centered Therapy.
Therapists in Georgia who are pursuing credentials such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), or Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC I or II) often participate in supervision sessions. Therapists pursuing credentials such as LCSW, CAADC, or CAC I/II in Georgia often share the cost of supervision by participating in group sessions.
